0000014: get_base_url bug in VirtualHosts in Windows Environment

the function get_base_url in functions.inc.php will put a redundant "\" for all links.

The problem is dirname will return a \ sign.

The problem could be reproduced all the time under Windows VirtualHost environment.

0000011: Switching content_function to true causes evalation of [function:] inside of

 block

When I change the setting for content_function to true, the example on the documentation/advanced_configuration page evaluates instead of displays.

Instead if producing;

You can now specify function calls like this: [function:myFunction(2,3)]

it shows:

You can now specify function calls like this: 5

I tried putting it inside of

 block, like so,

[function:myFunction(2,3)]




and it still evaluates to 5.



A small thing, but it might cause confusion ...

0000013: Improvement to: /cms/data/.htaccess
/cms/data/.htaccess is better as:





Order Allow,Deny

Deny from all





No-one should have http access to these files IMHO.


0000007: Distinction between e-mail and website address doesn't work in comments
If an e-mail address is entered it is handeled as a website address and displayed like this: http:// foo @example .com/


0000009: inserting thumbnail won't work
Inserting a thumbnail in the backend is not working.

When you click on Thumbn. in the "Add Page"-Section, you can select a gallery, but then you are forwarded to a non-existing page which redirects you to a 404.



The error is in the template for thumbnail-insertation. To fix ther error, you have to edit:

\templates\admin\insert_thumbnail.tpl

Replace line 19 with:



Save, close and that's it.


0000008: Extra (back)slashes inserted in generated URLs when installed in server root
When installed in the server root and base_url is unset, extra slashes are inserted into generated urls. On Windows backslashes are inserted instead, breaking links, stylesheet loading etc.



The problem seems to occur because PHP's dirname() function returns '/' ('\' on Windows) when passed a file path in the server root, e.g, dirname('/test.php').


0000004: count views function does not work
If enabled count views in settings, the system will not work.



The error is in cms/includes/content.inc.php, $db_settings is not defined. Thus $db_settings['pages_table'] is null. 



config/db_settings.php should be property included somewhere (either in the entry script or maybe in somewhere else).
